Payments and tutor payouts (Stripe)
When tutors set up payouts, we use Stripe Connect. You complete identity checks and bank details on Stripe's secure pages. NI Tutors does not receive or store your full bank account number, sort code, or other full banking credentials on our own infrastructure. We may store a Stripe-connected account identifier (for example an account reference), payout readiness status, and related metadata so the platform can route session payments to you.
When parents pay for sessions through NI Tutors, card data is handled by Stripe according to Stripe's privacy policy and security practices. Stripe acts as a payment processor and, for Connect, may act as a service provider to both NI Tutors and tutors.
